Chinese New Year Banquet - Westin Poinsett Hotel Ballroom, Greenville, SC

Beautiful hotel, beautiful space, but difficult lighting conditions for event photography with the dim lights, high ceiling and non-white walls. I decided to use bounce flash for most of the informal photos of the guests. Off-camera flash would not have been practical with running back and forth through the ball room trying to get pictures of all of the guests.

Off-camera flash was combined with bounce flash to capture the following photographs of the speakers and performers.
